"Cypress Pine" is a 48"x48" marker and colored pencil drawing on wood. This piece was commissioned by a client who was looking for an abstract composition with motifs of monarch and morpho butterflies, East Texas pine trees, and the cypress trees of the Texas Hill Country, all coming together to create a work of nature-inspired technicolor.
